What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel? And why is it important for every marketer to have one?

It's a strategy for marketing that is designed to draw potential customers to your site. It is a process of selling that involves a person visiting your blog to find information that will solve their problem. You can build a relationship through specific tools.

This will enable you to understand the customers' requirements. This will enable you to provide the most relevant information possible for all visitors. If you gain the trust of a visitor they are more likely to buy your products. The visitor then becomes a customer.

Certain customers turn out to be extremely loyal customers, ready to buy any product you promote. The marketing funnel is a collection of the various steps that are involved in turning a website visitor to a customer who will buy anything you offer.

This is the main objective for any online marketer. A well-designed funnel will achieve this very quickly.

Your marketing efforts are grabbing people's attention, and drawing them to your funnel. The funnel is opened when they fill in the form that you have on your PERSONAL lead capture page. I say "personal" because no one is going to opt in to your lead capture for business page. They are looking to become as a leader, not a business.

The lead capture page acts as the entry point into the funnel. Clicking the "Sign up Now" and "Enter Here" buttons will open a new realm of network marketing.

They are getting ready for the event and that is the most effective thing. It's their decision. They don't have to buy you as a leader or mentor. You could also demonstrate to them how they can increase leads and bring more money into their business.

This is how a standard funnel functions.

The "front-end", you can create a free offer that will attract and qualify potential customers who might be interested in buying your product later down the sales funnel. To receive your product for free you must sign up (also called opt-in) and give your email address and name. Then, you will include them on your email list.

You now have these people in your email list and you can offer them similar offers that might interest them.

Signing up for the complimentary offer will take them to a page that has low-price deals or what's called"a "trip wire offer". At this point, they are moving to the "back side" of the funnel.

If the buyer purchases the lowest priced offer, they will be directed to a comparable offer at a more expensive price (commonly called an upsell). Anyone who buys the cheaper offer will be taken to the next similar product at an even more expensive price. This can go on for a long period of time.
